Jesus Christ, just before leaving this earth, exhorted his disciples everywhere to “go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them…teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Mt.28:19-20). A disciple is simply a follower, in this case, those who have placed their personal faith and trust in Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior.
Our team is committed to, not merely alleviating poverty, but rather to use small business and educational development as a means of discipleship, the process of becoming a more knowledgeable and more committed follower of Jesus. Ideally, this process most effectively takes place in the context of a local community of other believers. But with the advances in technology and the reality of globalization, anyone with access to the World Wide Web can also benefit from this kind of relationship. We are almost daily in correspondence with our international partners, whether through email, various social media, phone calls, etc.
We pray that the Lord will continue to guide our steps as we seek partner with many more believers in the developing world.
